Our commitment to quality starts with our production process, where we maintain the highest standards and incorporate best of industry practices.
Each of our supplied solar cells is individually tested to ensure its quality and performance. The cell’s performance is measured by exposing the cell to a constant level of light while varying the external impedance load. This process creates multiple data points comparing the relationship between impedance and voltage (IV curve). Using this method, defects in a solar cell’s power performance can be identified before entering our production line.
The solar cells are then soldered together in accordance to individual module specifications. Our manual process uses temperature controlled soldering jigs to reduce thermal strain on the cells. Afterwards the individual rows are interconnected to form the module matrix in a process known as laying up. At this stage the matrix of solar cells is electrically tested to ensure the interconnections have been properly conducted and that the module will perform according to design standards.
After laying up and testing, the solar cell matrix is ready for the lamination process. For this procedure the matrix is encapsulated within layers of protective materials. The front of the matrix is covered by low-iron, high transparency glass and a sheet of Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA). The back covering consists of another EVA sheet and a triple-layer back sheet (Polyester and Tedlar). These materials are then placed into an industrial laminator. This machine encapsulates all the materials under high temperature (150oC), vacuum conditions ensuring a uniform seal and weather-proof protection.
In the final step of the assembly process we attach a high-quality support frame. Our patented frame is constructed with anticorrosion-treated aluminum and is compatible with the classic through screw structures and with all types of extension.
The fully assembled solar module undergoes yet another electrical test to guarantee its performance before it leaves our factory. Ready to ship modules are packaged in customized shipping boxes for safekeeping. Our thorough, quality controlled manufacturing process guarantees that our modules will provide you industry leading value and years of dependable service.
