Position: Finally Quality Engineer
Report to: Quality Manager
Location: Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, China

JOB SUMMARY:

Be in charge of packing products, controlling and improving quality under the guidelines of the manager in the quality-control department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Bear responsibility when major quality accidents take place because of neglect.
• Take part in developing and researching products; propose suggestions
• Be in charge of packing products, painting, controlling and improving quality; standardize and examine whether checkers implement correctly or not
• Be familiar with testing methods;
• Teach subordinate examiners inspecting techniques;
• Make a quality plan according to the progress of the project;
• Test samples and identify scrap materials;
• Label the testing state of company's raw materials, semi-finished products;
• Propose advice for the operational standard
• Test and manage the instruments and measures
• Analyze the cases of complaints from customers, and then improve quality.
• Evaluate quality in the workshop
• Collect quality information and implement the note of deducting salary because of bad quality;
• Be responsible for the quality analysis and information processing, monitor and test the quality to ensure that the correct measures can be completed on schedule, and to ensure product quality can be improved constantly.
• Apply statistical techniques to products;
• Make sure that his job meets regulations; supervise whether others work in accordance with standards or not;
• Send feedback to relevant units;
• Monitor and improve the quality control;
• Evaluate the quality of suppliers’ goods;
• Sign a quality contract with suppliers and give them directions when necessary
• Plan and implement checking program
• Maintain the management system of ISO9001:2008
• Organize training of quality system
• Report the running state of quality system to the manager frequently
• Analyze statistics
• Be responsible for the effectiveness of the implementation of 5S;
• Complete other tasks arranged by the supervisor.

REPORT:

• Weekly report for after-sale services;
• Monthly report for after-sale service;
• Daily reports;
• Monthly PPM statements for external complaints (total);
• Monthly PPM statements for external complaints;
• Monthly analysis of products’ testing;
• The OIA annual report (Quality system);
• Annual management assessment report (Quality System)

AUTHORITY:

• Have the right to identify obsolete parts;
• Have an obligation to prevent undesirable goods in and out of the factory;
• Have an obligation to prevent other departments and persons from violating documents relevant with quality;
• Give disposal advice in terms of quality management
• Have the right to arrange tasks and working time for checkers; can advise to dismiss incompetent persons;
• Have the right to require suppliers to stop supplying goods when finding major quality

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Junior college or above;
• More than 2 years experience on electronics, solar products and processing management.
• Be familiar with components processing and products’ performance and requirements;
• Can learn by oneself; have abilities to analyze and judge issues;
• Can skillfully employ statistical techniques;
• Deeply understand the standard of ISO9001:2008;
